Today's considered one of the more exciting days I've had in this rural area haha.
Woops, forgot to mention.
I'm currently residing in a rural part of China known as Da Tong.
Leaving for Beijing tomorrow haha
Ok.
In the afternoon, I went to roam the streets alone haha
Parents and relatives all went for their lunch and stuffs and I didn't go.
Cos, I can't stand the smoke.
Smoke as in Cigarette smoke.
So I went on to venture on my own haha
Went to the better part of Da Tong
Think it's called Hua Lin.
Actually quite boring.
Couldn't find the stores that I wanted haii.
What's for lunch then. MCDONALDS...
Sad right.
Resorted to fast food.
I walk walk walk until 3pm then went back hotel haha
Really nothing to do already.
At night, went with them for dinner.
This time, Cigarette was forbidden haha
Then after that went to the hospital to visit a relative.
But the more exciting part starts here.
I WENT TO VISIT THE OPERATING THEATRE!!!
SO COOL!!!
But the sad thing is, I couldn't get to see an operation :(
But then, to be able to enter the theatre is damn cool already haha
Went to tour around the theatre in doctor's clothes :):)
The best part is, when I'm about to exit the room, there's this person who said to us "Sorry doctors, the toilet's unavailable"

So cool I'm a doctor!!! hahaha
So yep. Quite fun haha

Yesterday, had my alarm set to 9am so that I would wake up early.
I snoozed for half hour lol!
Why did I have to wake up early?
Cos I need to go with mom to her office.
In the end.. I could've slept more!
We left house at like around 11!
Make me wake up so early for nothing lol
Around teatime, like 4pm, I went with my aunt to Ikea lolol!
The Ikea here is very much similar to the one in Singapore.
Equally "maze-y" haha
What's for dinner then? hahaha

A must have in Ikea!
Which reminds me.
I was cheated during sec two haha

Went to Ikea then to eat lunch.
In the end, I didn't know what to buy so I bought a...
KIDS MEAL LOL
Waste my money sia lol
Oh and back to Ikea shopping.
The items there are CHEAPER than the items in Singapore although the things are the same!
Yep so after that headed home. :)

Hmm, I went to skii a few days ago.
Wasn't that great though.
Cos, the place was small.
No speed at all haha
Location? Olympic Bird Nest lolol
Basically, I went there with high enthusiasm.
It got dampened by the lack of directions and signboards around.
In the end, it took us like 1 hour to get to the skiing slopes when we are already at the stadium!
How inefficient can they get man.
Geez..
So after an hour of searching, we finally hit the slopes.
BUT
BUT
BUT
The number of people there is like... argh so many.
So crowded =.=
The queue for the pulley thingy was so damn long.
So basically, one time down the slope takes about 15min.
No not 15min of skiing time but..
14.5min of queueing
0.5min of skii
How pathetic is that.
In all, we skiied for 2 hours. Not that long also.

Then later, went inside the "nest".
The stuffs in the nest were like a children's playground.
Slides and all. (Ice slides)
So ya, I was damn bored haha

At night, went to eat pizza hut (argh)
Go all the way to Beijing to eat pizza. Wow.
On the way back to the car, I smelled something nice haha
It was sweet potatos!
It was so soft lol
The best thing to do during a cold winter is to eat the smoking hot sweet potato ^^

So after that, I went back home.
It was desperately needed.
The weather too cold haha

A day of diarrhoea :(

I had a feast! hahaha
I guess I sort of deserved it? lol

A few days before, I ordered a Black Forest cake.
It was super super delicious!
The awesome cake ^^ Mmmmm!
Yesterday, went to China World Trade Centre for lunch.
Had steak at Steakhouse.
This was the place that caused my diarrhoea today :(
I think the beef filet that they used weren't fresh.
After the steak lunch, went to help my mom shop.
Then, rested to drink tea.
I like their tea set man, so delicate!
I'm so gonna get this tea set :)
Well, in all, the itinerary for the day was to shop with mom haha
Then, today, diarrhoea whole day.
Can't go out although it was quite warm outside!
Damn.
Sad right.

OMG OMG OMG OMG
I FINALLY CAN ACCESS FACEBOOK, YOUTUBE, BLOGS!!!
However... that is with the aid of a paid vpn...
Stupid filtering system they have here... block out all those sites.
I wonder how the people live.
No life.
Anyways.
I'm so touched that you guys (Zhengyan, Yongchang, Meishi, Junxian, Yuxin, Xueting) came to send me off!
I really didn't expect that.
Although I requested xt to come hahaha
I thick skin.
Ate breakfast with them in a hurry and ran off to board the plane.

On the plane, I had a very unpleasant experience.
I just accidentally dropped my EMPTY water bottle on this lady.
Or should I say, bitch!
She got all annoyed and angry even though I apologised.
Whatever.
Gave me "black" face throughout the trip.
So what if she flew with SIA for a long time and even gotten a Gold Elite Krisflyer Card.
She's just another bitch.
Midway during the flight, this old uncle fought with an Ang Moh lady =.=
Bo liao.
Typical Singaporean behavior.
I'm so embarassed.
Haha, enough of the rants.
First thing I touched down, I felt the chilliness.
So cold!
Temperatures are below zero celcius.
These few days have been so cold that I haven't gone out.
Except for meals and subsequent visit to Aunt's house to seek shelter from the cold weather.
Sad right.
It's too cold!
I can't overemphasize that fact haha.

Today, outing with the usual gang ^^
My last outing with them before I leave for 2 months :(

Don't feel like leaving liao.
When I return, most would be busy with ITPs
Some overseas ITP also.
Dunno when can I meet them again.

Anyways, we went to the Zi Char at Two Chefs.
The one that is near my house.
It was very sumptuous.
Must savor the Singapore delicacies before I leave.
Damn sadded.
After that we went to Hort Park.
Cam-whored.
I'm so loving the Teacher Kang and Students regime.
So fun!

Finished watching Beethoven Virus.
Quite a nice drama if you enjoy classical music.

Went to Bugis to shop with xt ^^
Toured the street for a few hours.
Agenda?
Get anything that I see fit haha
For me, I just see the item that i like and bought it after bargaining.
Xt had a checklist of items to buy and needs to eliminate to fit the budget lol
So ma fan right, tsk tsk tsk.
She got a lot of clothes must JIAN "TAO"
Then after that, I went to eat Laksa lol
Must savor the Singapore delicacies before I leave mah
Then xt went to withdraw the $50 budget that I kindly suggested ^^
Went back into the street to do last min shopping for xt
Unfortunately, there's this mid 40s uncle auntie couple who didn't want to budge for a bargain.
But we still managed to cut by 2 bucks. So tough.
Must use the "We're still a student" tactic. And it works!
But then, it was still $1 over budget.
Planned to go to the last stall to get a $1 discount to fit into the budget.
Didn't work...
Conclusion?
Auntie Uncle couple + Last stall auntie = Demon (Er Mo)
In the end, we didn't buy her last set of clothes because of the Er Mos.
Annoying. Don't even wanna cut $1.

Ok backtrack into the december week that's cramped with loads of outings :D
First up, ECP Campover with Meishi, Yuxin, Junxian and Hanting.
Gonna do a quick run through
Met up with Meishi early in the morning to buy BBQ stuffs
Then met up with Hanting to go ECP
Basically, it's the first time i set up a tent haha
Quick a feat to me
Was worried about the stability of the tent lol
Preparation for the BBQ was swift. Why?
Ht did everything! lol!
He's a must have for any BBQ man
Start fire, maintain fire, and what not, he did everything
He's like a pro lol
Ok, why do i sound like im promoting a product XD
BBQ!
Ht and his awesome fanning skills lol (Opps it's upside down)Not long after we finish our BBQ, it started raining =.=
Sucks
Water leaked into the tent. Why?
Didn't pitch the tent correctly lol
Left out one portion
In the end, we all got wet from trying to figure the last part. (with the exception of ms)
The thing is.. after we figured out how to properly pitch the tent, the rain STOPPED. =.=
